Swimming Pools

Pools Built Into Real Outdoor Living.

Custom swimming pool installations integrated with the rest of your backyard build. Pool, surround pavers, deck, lighting, and landscape designed and executed as one project.

Custom Pool Installations

The pool is just one piece of the puzzle.

Most pool builds end up looking disconnected: a great pool surrounded by an awkward yard. That happens when the pool contractor finishes their scope, walks away, and the homeowner is left figuring out the deck, the lighting, the planting, and the fence.

We do it differently. Pool builds are designed alongside the rest of your outdoor space — pavers, retaining walls, fence, lighting, planting, and irrigation all coordinated. The pool fits the yard, not the other way around.

Note: The pool shell itself is built by our trusted pool-construction partner. We handle design coordination, surround and deck pavers, retaining walls, fencing, lighting, planting, and full integration so the finished space flows.

What an integrated pool build includes.

  • Pool design — shape, size, depth, features (spa, sun shelf, waterfall) coordinated with yard design
  • Pool shell construction — via our pool-build partner
  • Surround pavers + decking — non-slip textures, integrated drainage, clean edges
  • Retaining walls — if grading requires elevation work
  • Code-compliant pool fencing — 5 ft, self-closing gates, no climbable horizontals
  • Pool + landscape lighting — underwater plus surround lighting
  • Equipment screening — clean visual hide of pumps, heaters, filters
  • Planting + irrigation — pool-friendly species, drip lines for surrounds
Our Process

How a Pool Build Actually Works

01

Discovery + design

We meet, walk the yard, talk through how you'll use the pool. Designer renders the pool integrated with the full yard plan in 2D and 3D.

02

Permitting + engineering

Pool permits, structural engineering, fence permits all submitted. We handle the paperwork.

03

Excavation + shell build

Pool excavation. Shell installation by our pool-build partner. Plumbing and equipment rough-in.

04

Hardscape surround

Pavers, decking, retaining walls, equipment screen, and any hardscape integrated around the pool. Sleeves run for future irrigation/lighting.

05

Finish + fencing

Pool plaster/finish, code-compliant fencing, gates, lighting (underwater + surround), planting beds.

06

Final detail + walkthrough

Equipment startup, water balance, system handoff. Walkthrough on operation, maintenance schedule, and warranty docs.

Common Questions

Pool FAQs

How much does a pool build cost in Utah?
Custom inground pool builds typically run $80,000–$200,000+ when integrated with hardscape, fencing, lighting, and landscape. We provide detailed written estimates after design.
How long does it take to build a pool?
Most integrated pool builds take 10–16 weeks from groundbreaking to handover. Permitting + design can add 4–8 weeks before construction starts.
Do you build the pool shell yourself?
No — we partner with a trusted pool-construction company for the shell, plumbing, and equipment. We handle everything around the pool: design coordination, hardscape, fencing, lighting, and landscape integration.
What about a hot tub or spa?
Yes — integrated spas can be built into the pool design (raised spa with spillway), or we can install a freestanding hot tub with hardscape surround.
Pool fence requirements in Utah?
Most Utah municipalities require 5 ft minimum height, self-closing/self-latching gates, and no climbable horizontal members within 4 ft of the ground. We know the code and handle compliance.
Can you build around an existing pool?
Yes. Many of our projects are existing pools that need surround upgrades — new decking, retaining walls, lighting, fencing, planting. We can transform the space without touching the pool itself.
