Fence Installation

Clean Lines. Tight Installs.

Vinyl fencing, gates, and modern privacy walls installed clean and straight across Utah. Proper post footings, level panels, finishes that hold their shape for years.

Fence Installation

Fences are simple — until they're crooked.

A fence isn't complicated work. But getting it right — level, plumb, properly footed, with clean transitions over uneven ground — is where most installs fall apart.

We install vinyl fences with proper post footings (concrete, below frost line), level panels, and tight gate hardware. Whether you need privacy, pet containment, or a clean property-line finish, the install holds its shape for the long haul.

What we install.

  • Vinyl privacy fences — 6 ft and 8 ft, full privacy or semi-private picket styles
  • Vinyl picket fences — 4 ft front-yard styles for pet containment + curb appeal
  • Gates — single, double, and pedestrian gates with quality hardware
  • Modern privacy walls — horizontal slat vinyl, mixed-material walls
  • Pool fences — code-compliant 5 ft fences with self-closing gates
  • Fence repairs — storm damage, post replacements, gate adjustments
Our Process

How We Install Fences

01

Property line + utility check

Verify property lines, mark fence run, and call 811 for utility locates before any digging.

02

Layout + post hole layout

String line for level reference. Mark post holes at consistent spacing (typically 6–8 ft).

03

Dig + set posts in concrete

Holes dug below frost line (30+ inches in Utah). Posts set plumb in concrete footings.

04

Panel installation

Panels attached between posts. Level on uneven ground using stepped or racked panels as the slope dictates.

05

Gate hardware

Self-closing hinges, latch hardware, and gate stops. Adjusted so gates swing freely and latch cleanly.

06

Cleanup + walkthrough

Spoil hauled off. Concrete cleaned up. Walkthrough on warranty and care.

Why Mountain View

Fence Installs That Hold Up

Below frost line footings

30+ inches deep in Utah so posts don't heave during freeze-thaw cycles.

String-line straight

Every panel level and plumb — no waves, no leans, no "close enough."

Slope-handled cleanly

Stepped or racked panels for sloped lots. We pre-plan transitions so it looks intentional.

Quality gate hardware

Heavy-duty hinges and latches. Cheap hardware is the first thing that fails on most fences.

Code-compliant pool fences

5 ft height, self-closing gates, no climbable horizontal members — we know the Utah code.

Property line respect

We verify lines and set fences cleanly inside, not over a neighbor's grass. No HOA letters later.

Common Questions

Fencing FAQs

How much does fencing cost in Utah?
Vinyl privacy fence runs $30–$55 per linear foot installed. Gates add $400–$1,200 each depending on style and hardware. We quote per project after a site walk.
How long does install take?
Most residential fence runs take 2–5 days from post-set to gate adjustment. Concrete needs 24 hours to set before panels go on.
Will the fence handle Utah winters?
Yes — vinyl is freeze-resistant. The key is footings deep enough to avoid frost heave. We always go below frost line.
Do I need a permit?
Most Utah cities don't require permits for fences under 6 ft on residential lots, but some do. We check with your municipality before quoting.
What about HOA approval?
Most HOAs require approval before install. We help you prep the application packet (style, height, color) so approval moves fast.
Do you build wood or chain-link fences too?
We focus on vinyl — it's the best long-term value for Utah climate. For wood or chain-link, we may refer to specialty contractors who do those exclusively.
