Full Backyard Transformations

One Crew. One Vision. Done Right.

End-to-end backyard transformations across Utah — hardscape, turf, pools, lighting, retaining walls, and planting in one cohesive build. No subcontractors fighting each other, no piecemeal results.

Complete Backyard Builds

Why piecemeal landscaping never quite works.

Most backyards are remodeled the wrong way: a paver guy installs a patio. Two years later a different contractor adds a wall. Then someone else throws in turf. Each piece works, but nothing flows — finishes don't match, levels don't align, the whole thing feels like a Frankenstein yard.

Full transformations are the opposite. We design the entire space first, then build it as one project. Hardscape colors, wall finishes, lighting placement, planting beds, drainage, irrigation — all coordinated so the finished yard feels like one intentional space.

What a full transformation includes.

  • Site analysis + 2D/3D design — before any work starts
  • Excavation, grading, drainage — the unsexy foundation everything else sits on
  • Hardscape — pavers, concrete, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens
  • Turf or sod — with proper irrigation infrastructure
  • Outdoor lighting — integrated during the build, not bolted on
  • Planting — trees, shrubs, perennials suited to Utah's climate
  • Pool or water feature — if part of the scope
  • Final detailing — mulch, edging, walkthrough, care guide
Our Process

From Concept to Finished Yard

Full transformations follow a longer, more structured process than single-service installs. Here's what to expect.

01

Site walk + lifestyle questions

We meet at your property and ask how you want to use the space. Entertaining? Quiet evenings? Pool parties? Pet zones? The use cases drive the design.

02

2D + 3D design rendering

We deliver detailed plans showing layout, materials, planting, lighting, and elevations. You see the entire yard before construction begins.

03

Material selections + final estimate

Paver samples, wall block options, turf grades, lighting fixtures — we bring physical samples to your home so you decide in your yard's actual lighting.

04

Demolition + grading

Existing landscape comes out. We grade for proper drainage and stake out the new layout. Old irrigation, sod, and obsolete features are removed cleanly.

05

Hardscape build

Walls first (they create the levels). Then patios and walkways. Concrete pours where needed. All hardscape integrated, all transitions clean.

06

Irrigation, lighting, drainage

Underground systems go in before final surface work — sprinklers, drip lines, lighting wire, drainage. Done before the surface seals it all in.

07

Turf, sod, planting

Soft surfaces installed. Trees and shrubs placed to design plan. Drip irrigation tuned to each plant zone.

08

Final detail + walkthrough

Mulch, edging, system testing. We walk you through every component, hand off the care guide, and answer questions. Then we leave you with a finished yard.

Why Mountain View

Why Full Builds Are Our Specialty

One team, one vision

Same crew handles design through detail. No one shows up not knowing what was promised in the design phase.

Design-first thinking

We don't sketch on a napkin. Real 2D and 3D renderings before construction commits.

Coordinated systems

Hardscape, irrigation, lighting, and planting all designed together — not three subs reacting to each other.

Tight schedules

We sequence trades efficiently. Yards stay clean and crews don't disappear for two weeks mid-build.

Single point of contact

You call one number. Marcelo or your project lead has eyes on every detail every day.

100% recommend rating

Every reviewing client has recommended us. Full transformations are where this rating gets tested most.

Common Questions

Full Transformation FAQs

How much does a full backyard transformation cost?
Full transformations vary widely based on scope. Mid-range projects (no pool) typically run $50K–$150K. Pool-included projects start higher. We provide detailed written estimates after design.
How long does a full transformation take?
Most projects run 4–10 weeks from demolition to final walkthrough. Larger or more complex projects (pools, custom outdoor kitchens, extensive walls) take longer. We give a firm schedule with the estimate.
Do I have to commit to everything at once?
No. Many clients phase the work — hardscape and turf in year one, planting in year two, lighting in year three. We design the full vision so phased work still flows.
Can you work with my architect or pool builder?
Yes — we coordinate with pool contractors, architects, and home builders all the time. Cleaner builds happen when teams talk early.
What if I don't know what I want?
Most clients don't, exactly. That's what the discovery walk and design phase are for — we ask about how you live, show options, and develop the vision together.
Do you offer financing?
For full transformations, yes — we work with reputable financing partners. Mention it during the estimate and we'll walk through options.
